My respects for the people that dedicate to this for a living or use big chunks of their time to do this year after year, it takes skill and dedication which I haven't even grasped.
So Starting with QBs because it's the most important, controversial positions and still one of the biggest needs the Bears have on their roster.
One thing that will stick out on my ranking is that I don't value Lawrence as much as Wilson and Fields. I liked how Fields played this year more than Lawrence, and I place Lawrence below Wilson just because I believe there is a possibility that Wilson can be more of a monster than Lawrence in the future. Still these three I believe can play starting this season. Jones I believe he can start day one as well but doesn't bring the same shiny tools and tricks the top 3 have. Lance is the best toolsie guy that probably is better for him to start on the bench and learn as much as he can.
Past these 5 QBs is where the prospects are more questionable. Mond has been noticed by many lately as the runner up and Book is just my personal favorite I don't see many talking about, I like that he scrambles and runs very well, throws with velocity and good enough accuracy although he is not that good throwing deep. Mond didn't show he can throw deep as well and until his combine i questioned his arm strength but seems to be ok, in short and intermediate throws he shows good velocity in games. Buchele is less spectacular than Mond and Book but shows in games that he can throw good passes, just needs to be more consistent, he would be a good project. Newman is hella strong running and throwing but accuracy is way off most of the time and ran a weird type of RPO system so I'm not sure how good he can be as a pocket passer, might be a good project QB. Trask is scary in that he can be good or really bad because of his lack of mobility, that wouldn't be so bad if he didnt show that he throws awkwardly when pressured resulting in interceptions.  Mills is considered to be in the project category as well but I'm not too hyped on his growth as he is right now, he didn't show much being in a team that ran heavily. Elingher has good mobility but needs a bunch of work as a passer accuracy wise and does not carry a strong arm. Franks is just too raw for my liking and did display anything that I would consider ready as a pro.

The Bears are not going to get one of the top 5 QBs if they stay at #20 and I wouldn't mind them going up for one but I would limit it to #11 (or #9 if a player is involved instead of more picks), this would involve giving #20 and a 2022 first rounder, more than this I would have an issue with, I do not want the Bears to lose more picks than this. According to rumors, QBs that could still be there would be Lance and maybe Fields or Jones, even if I'm not too hyped on Lance Im ok getting him and bench him all or most of 2021, this is why I don't have a problem giving next years first rounder because the Bears need to focus on getting a franchise QB and the best way to get one is drafting one in the first round often, not always. In the case of getting Lance, he would sit and be ready for next year and would be evaluated for what he accomplished in 2022, if he pans out then great, if he doesn't then you go into 2023 with the mission of getting another QB to compete or replace him.

If top 5 goes before pick 8 then stay with #20 and get best OT and wait preferably until Rd3 or after to get a developmental QB and try again in 2022 to see if there is a chance to get a better prospect. Post draft, Ryan Pace can still try to get Russell Wilson. It's time to stop being complacent with the QB position until "the guy" is found.
